Reafforestation and Climate Resilience
Sierra Leone is gradually losing its vegetation and forest covers due to massive harvesting of its timber reserves, and the brushing and burning of farmlands for upland farming practices. Little or no replacement programmes exist for long-term preservation of the environment. Our re-afforestation and environmental programmes are to help re-plant trees, bring community consciousness through public engagements to foster awareness of climate change implications, environmental management, and green corridor programs to promote climate resilience, all of which are of greater global concerns

Food security and Nutritional resilience

Financial Inclusion and Literacy
The rural economy and food security challenges cannot be built/and or resolved with resilience without financial capacity building. The absence of the savings culture, and the high cost of borrowing for seasonal ventures like agriculture has proven to exacerbate poverty and its attendant frailties in rural Sierra Leone. Our agricultural credit union model is intended to bring financial inclusion and the associated benefits to build the financial capacities of farmer members.

Our programmes are focused on sustainable agriculture for food production, supporting agri-financing of rural farmers to scale farming portfolios, engagement in agricultural produce trade and export promotion to improve farmer disposable income, and developing schemes for poverty alleviation in our bid to promote rural economic empowerment.
Fish and Eggs Production
These are well known primary sources of protein for healthy body growth and resistance to sicknesses. Producing them in commercial quantities in a controlled environment, and under organic conditions will boost the nutritional resilience of the population
Snail farming
Snail farming is environmentally friendly, as it requires low resources and contributes little to environmental pollution. It is a growing agricultural venture that has gained popularity due to its profitability, low setup cost, and rising demand for snail meat and snail by-products.
Key Livestock farming
Sierra Leone is a net importer of livestock products. According to revealed statistics, we import 80% of poultry, 70% of eggs, 90% of eaten pork meat, a trend we are determined to reverse. Our product lines in livestock farming constitutes large scale development for their nutritional values, which will become a game changer in nutritional resilience.

In rural Sierra Leone, land ownership is vested in the community and controlled by family units. We address climate change by promoting afforestation and climate-resilient agriculture. Our projects focus on sustainability through climate-smart farming practices that support long-term food security and environmental protection.
